The rules and regulations around lockdown and social distancing are changing on a daily basis all over the country, and the situation is extremely unsettling at an already unsettling time for new mums.
In March, Mush was the first mum platform to react to the lockdown by running a daily set of 11am virtual sessions where mums could come and watch experts talking about a number of different topics to do with them and their baby. We did this because having a community around you when you are a new mum is the difference between despair and jubilation on the rollercoaster that is motherhood. And whilst we couldn’t meet in real life, we wanted to offer an experience where we could replicate that feeling of community and togetherness.
Given the tightening restrictions, those sessions will now start again, as a way for mums around the country to come together. Some sessions will be hosted by an expert and some will just be a safe platform for mums to speak with each other about anything and everything. What we can guarantee is that every weekday at 11am, we will open a forum for you to see others, and be seen.
If you have a session you would like to run, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org detailing your expertise and what you could talk to our mums about and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
In the meantime, look out for newsletters (mark us as ‘safe’ in your inbox- emails come from email@example.com) and for posts in the home feed- this is where you will be able to join in the sessions from.
Let’s do this Together- because no mum should do it alone….
